October is Black History Month in the UK. So this month, we created “#ThisIsBlack” - a striking brand campaign to celebrate the level of Black creation across TikTok. 

 

Working with 9 top Black creators on our platform to celebrate the cultural and sociable contributions they add to the community. Over 200 OOH ads were placed in the local neighbourhoods of our featured creators - giving them all the fame and recognition they absolutely deserve. 

 

All in all, the campaign shone a light on the diverse creators leading content in art, music, literature and food - and also providing educational resources in-app to encourage everyone to be a better ally to the Black community.
